Owner may invest $400K in fixing troubled Memphis apartment complex

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After FOX13 exposed unsafe and unsanitary conditions at a complex in the Hollywood neighborhood, an out-of-state landlord plans to make hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs.

“We’re doing this for the benefit of the tenants,” said Lani Lester, the anti-blight litigation manager for the City of Memphis. “We can’t have people living in these conditions.”
