MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was sentenced to 20 years in prison Monday after pleading guilty to murder in a 2023 case.
Calvin Mitchell, 35, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting at the Elvis Presley Inn in Whitehaven.
The Shelby County District Attorney’s Office said Mitchell shot and killed the victim after they got into an argument.
