MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Darren Goods, who was appointed in April as the city’s public safety advisor, has resigned, a city spokesperson said Thursday.
Goods, a former MPD colonel and commander of the Investigative Services Bureau, had 35 years of experience, the city said when he was appointed.
Mayor Paul Young said he would appoint a replacement.
