MEMPHIS, Tenn. — MATA is making public transportation free for riders for 90 days beginning Nov. 16, as part of a pilot project as the city explores transit options.
That means that starting in about two weeks, you can step on any MATA bus, trolley or MATAplus vehicle and ride free of charge through next February.
