Man pulls gun on state trooper while running from car after high-speed chase, records show

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man pulled a gun at Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) troopers after jumping and running from a car during a high-speed chase in Memphis, court records show.

A THP trooper saw a Dodge Charger with expired tags traveling east on Knight Arnold Road near Hickory Hill Road. According to court records, the trooper attempted a traffic stop, but the driver turned, slowed down, failed to stop and then sped off.
