Robbery suspect shot by task force members charged federally

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man who was shot by members of the Memphis Safe Task Force now faces federal charges.

Task force officers had just completed lunch at Corky’s on North Germantown Parkway on Halloween when they saw 18-year-old Marquis Davis running with a gun. The Department of Justice said that “based on (his) actions at that point, federal agents fired their duty weapons, striking Davis.”
