Memphis Safe Task Force announces nearly 200 new arrests in under a week

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Safe Task Force has released new data indicating that agents made nearly 200 new arrests in under a week.

According to data the task force released on Saturday, agents have made 2,285 arrests. That is an increase of 190 arrests since Wednesday, which is when the Memphis Safe Task Force reported 2,095 arrests.

The data indicate that there have been 10 homicide arrests, 258 narcotics arrests, 200 firearm-related arrests, and 981 warrants served…
