MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two members of the Memphis Fire Department (MFD) were arrested and charged with drag racing.
Court records show that a Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) state trooper arrested Joshua Hines and Jasmyne Long on November 5. According to an affidavit, the trooper saw two sports cars speeding southbound on Gertwell Road near Knight Arnold Road just after midnight.
The trooper hit his lights, and the two cars, a 2022 Chevy Camaro and a 2022 Ford Mustang, sped away, according to the trooper. The trooper said he hit speeds of over 100 mph while pursuing the cars, and both cars pulled away from him at that speed…
