MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was hit by a car in South Memphis early Tuesday morning, according to the Memphis Police Department.
Officers say around 4:15 a.m., they were flagged down by a concerned motorist who reported that a pedestrian had just been struck at the intersection of Latham Street and South Parkway East.
A man was found lying out on the ground, facedown at the intersection, in distress, police say. That is when officers rendered aid to the man, who was suffering from cuts to the face and road rash to the back legs and face.
