MSCS honors National Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Shelby County Schools (MSCS) will participate in the National Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day on November 14 with events across multiple schools to honor Bridges’ legacy of courage and commitment to equality.

Students and educators at MSCS will engage in activities that celebrate Ruby Bridges’ historic role in desegregating schools in the South. Events will include classroom recognitions, themed days, and guided walks to reflect on inclusivity and courage.
