Nine stray dogs rescued during Lamar Ave. Corridor Revitalization, MAS says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Efforts to revitalize the Lamar Avenue corridor are not only cleaning up blight and improving safety, they’re also helping give unsheltered animals a home.

Memphis Animal Services (MAS) said it rescued nine stray dogs while assisting in the Lamar Avenue Corridor Revitalization Plan. MAS safely rescued the animals while other city departments worked to improve safety, reduce blight, and clean up one of Memphis’ busiest roads.

Skylar, Sassy, Rooster, Poss, Lil Cray, Layla, Buddy, Bear, and Stormy are receiving care at MAS and will soon be available for fostering and adoption…
