MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Memphis released data on Wednesday morning from the time the Memphis Safe Task Force operational period began.
From October 1 through November 11, the task force has made 2,501 arrests with 795 warrant arrests. A breakdown can be found below.
Arrests:
- Felony arrests — 1,078
- Misdemeanor — 1423
- Non-violent arrests — 1,589
- Violent arrests — 912
Warrant arrests:
- Felony arrests — 445
- Misdemeanor — 350
- Non-violent arrests — 419
- Violent arrests — 376
The task force has conducted 29,013 traffic stops and issued 24,502 citations. They say 576 firearms and 344 vehicles have also been recovered…
