MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man is accused of trying to kidnap a child and harassing people at apartments in the University area, but his family is worried about his struggles with mental health.
Dominique Hawkins, 25, is charged with attempted kidnapping.
Police say he was at the Woodtrail Apartments on Spottswood Ave. and grabbed an 8-year-old girl, pulling her into a breezeway on Saturday, Nov. 8.
