Two unrestrained toddlers found in backseat of car during 100mph chase

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A Memphis man is facing several charges following a high-speed chase involving Tennessee Highway Patrol Tuesday afternoon.

According to arrest documents, just before 1:30 p.m. on November 18, a THP trooper attempted to make a traffic stop on a gray Infiniti M35 traveling southbound on South Perkins Road near Cottonwood Road. The driver fled from the trooper, leading to a pursuit.

The trooper noted speeds exceeded 100 mph including inside a 40 mph zone. The driver is accused of running stop signs and driving into oncoming traffic, almost striking other vehicles…
