MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis parents and local leaders met Tuesday night, Nov. 25, at the Whitehaven Library to confront what many described as a “right-now crisis” in children’s mental health.
The event, titled “The State of Mental Health for Children in Memphis,” brought together decision-makers from the school system, juvenile justice system, and community organizations to explain what they’re seeing and share what resources families can access immediately.
