Our first taste of winter soon? It’s definitely possible next Monday night, at least in some spots.
This is still a very tricky forecast at this point, especially when the margins are so thin. We’ll be right near the freezing mark late Monday night, and a degree here and there will make all the difference. That being said, for now it looks like the best bet for some wet snowflakes/occasional sleet/patchy freezing drizzle will be north of I-40. Even a light dusting of snow is possible closer to the bootheel of Missouri.
Is this going to be a big winter storm? No. And for most of us it won’t cause any major headaches, but we’ll still need to be on guard for a few slick spots early Tuesday. We’ll keep you posted!…
