An anonymous post on social media has shed light on a dog attack incident that occurred yesterday in East Memphis. The user, who was walking their dog at the time of the incident, recounts the terrifying ordeal in which an unfamiliar loose dog attacked their pet. The loose dog initially appeared friendly but quickly turned aggressive, latching onto the user’s dog’s harness and later onto its leg and torso. Despite the user’s attempts to separate the two dogs, the loose dog continued its attack, leading to the user firing warning shots to create distance and break up the attack. After the attack, the user immediately sought emergency veterinary care for their injured dog and later reported the incident to the police.
