MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Fifteen people have been federally indicted for allegedly operating a multi-state drug trafficking ring, with eight of the accused from Shelby County.
The organization is accused of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana and conspiracy to commit money laundering, Michael Dunavant, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee announced Friday.
