MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Deputies in Tipton County say a man is in custody after he allegedly shot his girlfriend with her 4-year-old inside a house Friday.
Deputies were called to 43 Woodlawn Cove in Munford for a shooting. They found a woman who told them she had fled the house with a neighbor’s help after she was shot by her boyfriend, Hunter Melton.
The victim said her child was still in the house with Melton. Deputies secured the area and tried to call Melton out of the house, but neighbors told them Melton had already run from the house…
