MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A DeSoto County Justice Court judge was arrested by the Hernando Police Department, a DeSoto County PIO (public information officer) confirmed Monday morning.
Karen Sanders was charged with DUI and careless driving on Saturday.
The PIO said Sanders was released on her own recognizance by a Hernando City judge the night she was taken into custody and is no longer employed at the DeSoto County facility.
