MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department and the Boll Weevils are delivering Christmas presents and money directly to families in need through their “Blue Christmas” initiative.
The partnership allows the organizations to support families in the community who may be behind on bills or impacted by crime.
The Boll Weevils provide the presents and funding, while Memphis police identify the families, said Theresa Carlson of MPD.
