Memphis police are on the hunt for two suspects involved in a robbery at Berryhill Market, located at 1885 Berryhill Road. The incident, which took place in the early hours of Wednesday, November 26, 2025, saw the duo, allegedly armed with a hammer and a handgun, make an aggressive assault on the store’s goods. According to the Memphis Police Department’s report, the hammer-wielding suspect shattered a glass display, pilfering vape products, while his accomplice kept watch at the door.
As a customer approached the establishment, the situation escalated. Running away from the scene on foot, one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the arriving customer. This confrontation led the customer to get back in their vehicle and drive away. Fleeing southbound toward Cordova High School, the suspects have evaded capture. Investigators are of the opinion that these individuals are part of the local community.
Descriptions provided by the police detail the first suspect as a Black male, whom they estimate is between 5’10″ and 6’0″, with a thin stature, in the 18-20 year age range. This suspect dressed in black gloves, a gray hoodie, black pants, and tan shoes, his identity concealed behind a black mask. His accomplice, also a Black male of a similar age, is described as shorter, ranging in height from about 5’4″ to 5’8″, and of a thin build.
