County clerk faces questions about missing reports

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Shelby County Commissioners are pressuring County Clerk Wanda Halbert to reconcile the financials from last year and provide them with the reports.

Commissioners will discuss a resolution at their meeting Wednesday that would ask Halbert to comply with “lawful requests for reports, data, and information from county-retained auditors and the comptroller for the state of Tennessee.”
