North Memphis community unites for annual Christmas parade

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Just a mile away from the nightclub where two people were critically injured overnight, the community came together for the 3rd annual North Memphis Christmas Parade on Saturday.

Law enforcement with the Memphis Safe Task Force was in full force along Vollintine Avenue in North Memphis.

“It feels wonderful. It brings out people that normally hardly ever come out,” said Wilson Sharon, Klondike Smokey City CDC.
