Black 7-Year-Old With Disabilities Slammed & Handcuffed At School: Lawsuit

The mother of a 7-year-old student with disabilities has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that a school resource officer at a Memphis elementary school used excessive force during a classroom incident, leaving her son injured and traumatized.

Cetera Jones filed the lawsuit on November 21 in U.S. District Court on behalf of her son, identified as L.J., according to court records obtained by Atlanta Black Star.
