MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A married couple was robbed and carjacked at the One and Only BBQ restaurant while they were opening the store in Cordova Monday morning, according to Memphis Police.
Officers say they responded to the scene at 6:15 a.m. in the 100 block of Timber Creek Drive. Police were met with a male victim who said he and his wife arrived at the restaurant around 6 a.m. and were ambushed by a man.
The victim said the suspect forced them inside the building and said, “I been watching y’all for a while.” That’s when police say the suspect then forced the man to unlock the office door to gain access to the safe.
