MPD Mounted Patrol helps rescue loose horse in traffic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police Mounted Patrol helped a loose horse in the Douglass neighborhood return to its owner after it was seen running through traffic.

Just after 6:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a loose horse in traffic near the intersection of Warford and Chelsea avenues.

With help from the Memphis Police Department’s mounted patrol, they guided the horse out of the roadway and reunited it safely with its owner. No injuries were reported…
