Charges dismissed for ex-Memphis school director in $400k theft

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four years after the director of the former Memphis Academy of Health Sciences was indicted for allegedly stealing nearly $400,000 from the school, the criminal charges have been dismissed.

The Carter Malone Group public relations group announced Monday that the charges against Corey Johnson were dismissed by a Shelby County judge in November of this year.
