The return of two sought-after fugitives to custody marks a successful end to a collaborative law enforcement effort in Nevada. Nevada State Police announced that Jimmy McMahan and De Antonio Turner, both previously convicted and later violating terms of supervision, were arrested in Memphis, Tennessee, following a joint investigation. According to a social media post by the Nevada State Police, McMahan was apprehended on November 25 as part of Operation Memphis Safe, and Turner was taken into custody on December 4 during Operation Memphis Streets.
McMahan, known as “Whyte Folkz,” and Turner were convicted of conspiracy to commit robbery after an armed incident on the Las Vegas Strip. According to a social media post by the Nevada State Police, both received probation instead of prison but later violated their terms. McMahan transferred his supervision to Tennessee before fleeing in November 2022, while Turner absconded in June 2024 after his parole was revoked, just two months after being released in April.
