Memphis Police Arrest Suspect Jose Osorio on Multiple Charges After Shooting on Madison Avenue

Early Saturday morning, a shooting incident on Madison Avenue resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Jose Osorio. According to the Memphis Police Department report, at 3:14 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Madison Avenue, where a male victim was found and swiftly transported to a local hospital. Initially in critical condition, the victim’s status was later updated to non-critical.

The police were informed that the shooting took place in the 2000 block of Madison Avenue and were provided with a description of the suspect. A search ensued, leading to the detainment of three males in the 2100 block of Court Avenue. One of them, Osorio, now faces charges for attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and possession of a handgun while intoxicated.
