The Transfer Portal has not officially opened. As expected, after the bowl game, many are preparing to move forward.
Former Class of 2025 standout freshman AJ Hill is no longer a Memphis Tiger. Hill showed flashes of greatness but never really got the opportunity to prove himself. Junior Linebacker Everette Roussaw Jr., who was a key piece in the linebacker room, is entering the portal. Roussaw Jr. was Top 5 in tackles. Defensive Backs Kamari Wilson and Chris Bracy were two of the best secondary pieces for Memphis. Bracy made key plays against Arkansas, and Wilson led the Tigers with interceptions.
The new Memphis Head Coach will have plenty of scholarships and, most importantly, NIL money to attract new players to the 2026 roster.
