MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A mother is demanding justice in the murder of her 16-year-old daughter, Nia Ratcliff, nearly three years after the teen was killed. There have been no arrests or answers.
Robyn Ratcliff says she feels like it’s still December 25 of 2022, the day she learned that her daughter had been shot.
She told WREG she’s angry with how the City of Memphis and Memphis Police have handled the case.

“I want the shooters, I want the mom, I want the district, I want the mayor, I want the police chief, I want the detectives, I want the sergeants. I want everybody who is dismissing this case like I was a nothing ass parent,” said Robyn Ratcliff, mother of Nia Ratcliff.
“I’ll never get to experience being a mom again, ever. It was taken within moments. She’s still getting offers to college. My daughter worked and she got robbed of life. The most precious part of life. And it’s no accountability behind it,” said Ratcliff.
