MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A male victim is recovering in the hospital after being shot at a grocery store following an earlier fight with the alleged suspect in Southwest Memphis Sunday night, according to Memphis Police.
Officers say they responded to the scene just before 11 p.m. at the Community Grocery store in the 4700 block of Horn Lake Road.
When they arrived, police say they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot. The victim told them that he was shot by a man after a fight that had occurred between the two of them earlier on Sunday.
The victim said the man walked up to him, bumped him, and then pulled out a gun to shoot him. Police said the suspect left the scene headed towards Hewlett Road…
