MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An investigation is underway following an early Sunday morning shooting that injured one man in the Cherokee neighborhood, Memphis Police confirm.
Officers say they responded to the area of the shooting at Prescott Rd. and Steve Rd. at approximately 1:25 a.m.
One man was found who had been shot. The injured man told police a man he didn’t know started speaking to him as he was walking down Prescott. The suspect then fired multiple shots at him.
Police say the victim was shot twice. He was taken to Regional One in non-critical condition…
