Former director at senior-living facility charged with theft, burglary

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — A former director at a senior-living facility in Collierville is accused of stealing from residents’ rooms, according to the Collierville Police Department (CPD).

CPD said Timothy Johnson, 57, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, turned himself in on December 18. Johnson was charged with theft of property over $10,000 and aggravated burglary.

During an investigation, investigators discovered Johnson was the director at the senior-living facility StoryPoint in Collierville and that he started stealing from residents around April.

Johnson has been released on a $20,000 bond. CPD says more charges could be pending in the case since it is still being actively investigated…
