MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Shelby County Sheriff Floyd Bonner has been removed from a federal lawsuit filed by a mother who says her 7-year-old disabled child was thrown into a bookcase at a Memphis elementary school.
The school resource officer she’s accusing has also been named in the latest version of the suit against Memphis Shelby County Schools. The officer, previously identified as John Doe in court documents, has been named as Bryant Parker.
