Woman accused of shooting man in head, arm in Midtown

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman charged with attempted murder is accused of shooting a man in the head and arm on Christmas Eve in Midtown, according to Memphis Police.

Alicia Marshell Williams, 24, was arrested and booked into jail on Christmas Day. She is charged with attempted second-degree murder, five counts of aggravated assault, domestic assault, and possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony.

On Dec. 24, at around 4:30 p.m., Memphis police received a call from a woman that someone had been shot and that she was on the way to a hospital.

Police said they received other calls about the shooting and reported that it happened in the 1400 block of Snowden Avenue.
