MPD seek suspect in Orange Mound apartment shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is wanted after he fired shots at an Orange Mound apartment complex, which wounded a man in the back, according to Memphis Police.

On Dec. 17, at around 1:40 a.m., officers said they responded to a shooting in the 1800 block of Pendle Street at the Pendleton Place Apartments.

The victim told officers he was standing in the kitchen washing dishes when someone fired multiple gunshots through his kitchen window, and he was wounded in the back.

According to MPD, the surveillance video they obtained showed a suspect wearing all black, pulling out a firearm, and firing shots through the window before running on foot away from the complex and exiting out the gate onto Pendleton Street and continuing to walk northbound…
