Masked men with machine guns rob driver in Southeast Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for several masked men who were armed with machine guns and a Draco when they boxed in and robbed a driver in Southeast Memphis.

MPD has released a picture of one of the suspects involved in the hold-up on Dec. 22 in the 2500 block of Mt. Moriah Road.

The victim told officers that four suspects pulled in front of them in a black truck, and three exited the vehicle and demanded that they give up their rifle in the front passenger seat.

The victim said the suspects grabbed the rifle and left the scene in an unknown direction. MPD said the driver of the suspect’s truck is known as “Baby Zip.”
