MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Brandy Williams’ water broke around 9:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, but her daughter Ne’Cole wouldn’t enter the world until just after midnight on New Year’s Day.
The little girl was born at 12:16 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 2 ounces, and appears to be the first baby of the New Year in the Memphis area.
“I was, I mean, I was technically told that I wouldn’t make it past December, but I did, she came,” said Williams.
