MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The City of Olive Branch announced the passing of the city’s former Mayor Milton Nichols on Wednesday.
The city said that Milton served 20 years as Mayor of Olive Branch, becoming the City’s 21st mayor, and later continued his commitment to public service with 12 years on the DeSoto County Board of Education.

“He will be remembered not only for his years of service, but also for his sharp legal mind, quick wit, and deep dedication to the people he served,” said Olive Branch mayor Kenneth Adams. “On behalf of the City of Olive Branch, I extend my heartfelt condolences and prayers to Milton’s family, friends, and all who were touched by his life.”
