MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A man was robbed of his money and a handgun after being set up with a Facebook sale, the Memphis Police Department said.
Just before 7:00 Monday evening, MPD said, officers were sent to the robbery on Turco Drive in Raleigh. Once there, police said, the victim told them he was there to buy a PlayStation 5 console from a Facebook contact, and was met in the street by one of the suspects.
Memphis Police said the man told them he wanted to make sure the console worked, so he followed the first suspect into a breezeway, where he was approached by a second suspect holding a gun. MPD said the second person held the gun on the victim while the first robbed him of his money and a Glock 26 handgun…
