Man accused of stealing $50k, socks from business

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man accused of stealing equipment from a Northeast Memphis restaurant and $50,000 and socks from a Parkway Village business was booked in the Shelby County Jail Monday.

Police said Casey Ash had numerous burglary warrants. He was charged with two counts of burglary of a business and theft of property of $10,000-$60,000.

Police say on November 7, 2025, Ash broke into MB Incorporated in the 4800 block of American Way and left with the $50,000 and an undetermined amount of socks.

According to the affidavit of complaint, surveillance captured video of a man crawling under the damaged fence on the west side of the business, then walking around to the east side, where a side door is located…
