4th victim shows up at hospital days after High Point Terrace shooting

UPDATE: MPD said Tuesday afternoon officers responded to the hospital after a 20-year-old man showed up with a gunshot wound. Officers were advised that the man was injured on January 2 in the 400 block of Highpoint Terrace. MPD said this is an ongoing investigation.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Neighbors in the High Point Terrace neighborhood were enjoying the nice weather Monday, out walking their dogs and running along the Greenline walking trail, but are still talking about a shooting on High Point Terrace Road Friday night that sent three teenagers to the hospital.

“It’s tough because we do have a good neighborhood watch,” said Pam. “We just have petty crime. We don’t have massive crime here.”

Police have not released many details about the shooting that happened around 10 p.m. at a duplex in the 400 block of High Point Terrace, but said when officers arrived on the scene, they didn’t locate any victims…
