4 arrested after shooting in Memphis leads to chase, crash in Southaven

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Four people are now in custody after National Guardsmen said they saw suspects conducting a drive-by shooting at a home with 12 people inside, including children, before leading Memphis Police officers on a chase to Southaven and crashing.

Miracle Wells, 18, is charged with 12 counts of criminal attempt facilitation second-degree murder, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon in a motor vehicle.

Herman Powell, 20, is charged with 12 counts of criminal attempt facilitation second-degree murder, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon in a motor vehicle, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Darnell Barbee, 24, has a state warrant out for his arrest in Shelby County.
