Memphis Police Department Bolsters Public Safety Efforts with 17 New Police Service Technicians

The Memphis Police Department is welcoming new members to its ranks with 17 Police Service Technicians (PSTs) recently joining the force. According to a social media post by the Memphis Police Department, these PST’s are set to take on significant responsibilities, including managing traffic during special events and responding to crashes throughout Memphis.

The addition of these technicians is part of MPD’s strategy for increasing public safety, a tacit acknowledgment of the ever-evolving landscape of urban policing.
