MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 22-year-old female is behind bars after being accused of assaulting a woman multiple times and holding her child hostage with a knife, according to Memphis Police.
Brainesha R. Bowdery is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and aggravated kidnapping.
Officers said they responded to a call at the Trinity Lakes Apartments regarding a shirtless woman running with a toddler through an apartment complex, screaming for help on Monday.
