Former officer up for decertification harassed, threatened ex-girlfriend while in uniform, records show

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two former Memphis Police officers are on this week’s agenda for the Peace Officers Standards and Training Commission (POST) Commission in Nashville.

Records obtained by FOX13 show Elizabeth Kirby was submitted to lose her certification after she failed two drug tests between July and November 2024. Documents in her case show she quit her job instead of being fired.
