MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a woman opened fire at a family gathering at a Parkway Village home and was arrested after she was involved in a car accident while fleeing the scene.
Ladashai Carter, 25, was booked in the Shelby County jail after being treated for minor injuries from the crash and was charged with reckless endangerment and employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
There are visible injuries to Carter’s face in her mugshot.

The shooting happened on Sunday on the 3300 block of Creighton Avenue.
