Officials meet with East Memphis residents to hear concerns over repeated shootings

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Residents from East Memphis met with a lieutenant with the Memphis Police Department and their city council representative to share concerns about crime Friday.

Earlier this week, Action News 5 told you about residents in High Point Terrace beginning to worry with gunfire ringing out almost daily in the new year, something they say isn’t common for their quiet neighborhood.
